Lecture: Jeffrey Miller – Juno: Revealing Jupiter's Secrets
Friday, July 21, 2017 - 7:00pm

Just over one year ago, on July 4, 2016, the Juno spacecraft became NASA’s latest mission designed to reveal Jupiter’s secrets by peering through its dense, cloudy atmosphere. Juno will help us understand more about the solar system’s beginnings by studying the origin and evolution of Jupiter. We'll discuss the latest findings from Juno's year in orbit around the king of the planets! Free and open to the public.

Friday, July 21, 7:00 pm at The Wild Center, 45 Museum Drive, Tupper Lake (map).

Jeffrey Miller is an astronomer at St. Lawrence University, Canton NY, and a trustee of the Adirondack Public Observatory.
